Ultra Glaze

ENHANCED GLOSS AND DURABILITY FOR ALL TILEGUARD® SYSTEMS

Ultra Glaze is a 100% acrylic hybrid water-based coating designed to enhance gloss and increase coating durability of all Tileguard® coating systems while maximising dirt pick-up resistance.

This premium final coat extends the life and appearance of your roof coating project.

Why Choose Ultra Glaze
  • Enhanced gloss: Provides a superior gloss finish to roof coatings
  • Improved durability: Extends the life of the coating system
  • Dirt resistance: Reduces dirt accumulation and maintains appearance
  • Easy application: Applies smoothly as a finishing coat
  • Safe for rainwater: Certified safe for use on roofs that collect drinking water
  • 10-year warranty: Guaranteed professional results
  • Australian made: Formulated specifically for local conditions

While Regent Ultra® is a complete topcoat system providing excellent dirt resistance and gloss retention, Ultra Glaze is a specialised final enhancement layer. Think of Regent Ultra® as your premium all-in-one topcoat, while Ultra Glaze is the protective clear ‘polish’ that maximises gloss and extends the life of any Tileguard® system. For ultimate performance, consider using both – Regent Ultra® as your colour coat, followed by Ultra Glaze as the finishing touch.

  • Projects requiring maximum gloss and durability
  • Premium roof restorations needing enhanced dirt resistance
  • High-visibility properties where appearance is critical
  • When extending coating life is a priority
  • As the finishing touch on quality projects

PRO TIP:

Apply as a very thin final coat – thinner than normal colour coats. Maintain proper spray distance to achieve an optimal fine mist application.

  • Application method: Airless spray recommended
  • Coverage: 100-110 m² per 20L pail for cement tiles; 120-130 m² per 20L for metal and non-porous tiles
  • Dry time: Varies with conditions
  • Suitable surfaces: Over Tileguard® colour coat and Regent Ultra®
  • Temperature range: Not recommended below 14°C or above 32°C
  • Composition: 100% acrylic hybrid
  • Clean up: Water
  1. Ensure previous coats are correctly applied and fully dry.
  2. Check surface temperature – if it’s too hot to touch, it’s too hot to paint.
  3. Apply as a thin final coat (thinner than normal colour coats).
  4. Cement tiles: Apply at 100-110 m² per 20L pail.
  5. Metal surfaces: Apply at 120-130 m² per 20L pail.
  6. Maintain proper coverage rates to prevent blistering or clouding.

For optimal results, use Ultra Glaze as the final enhancement in a complete system:

Step 1: Thorough high-pressure cleaning

Step 2: Appropriate primer or sealer based on surface condition

Step 3: One or two coats of Tileguard® Standard or Regent Ultra®

Step 4: Final coat of Ultra Glaze for maximum gloss and protection

Non-hazardous in dry film form and compatible with all Tileguard® system components. Suitable for drinking water collection (disconnect downpipes for two good rainfalls before reconnecting). Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
